OUR MISSION

Our mission is to do God's will by attracting men, women, children, and families to become servants of God and to spread the Word of the Lord.

We encourage others to be Christ-like in their walk with God.  We want to empower you to have a meaningful relationships within the church ministry and to establish a sound basis for the mission of serving God. 

Who We Are

God's Way Church of Deliverance is a Bible Teaching, Prayer Believing, Interracial, Non-Denomination Christian Ministry.  We exist to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous, relationship with Jesus Christ. 

God's Way Church of Deliverance was founded by Bishop John W. Jacquess and First Lady S.A. Jacquess in February 1992 with a very small group of people meeting in their home.  Being led by the Holy Spirit, they started God's Way Church of Deliverance in San Diego, California. 

We are not affiliated with any outside umbrella organizations; however in June 2009, the then, Pastor Jacquess was elevated to Bishop with the forming of God's Way Church International Fellowship, more commonly known as the GWCIF.  The GWCIF is comprised of several fellowship churches that share the same core principles that God's Way was founded upon.
